Neymar hilariously joked about his contribution to Al-Hilal's Saudi Super Cup triumph.

Al-Hilal lifted their first trophy of the season after a thumping 4-1 win over Al-Ittihad thanks to Malcolm's brace and strikes by Salem Aldawsari and Nasser Aldawsari.

Neymar is currently ruled out with an injury after making just five appearances for the club and he is expected to miss the remainder of the season.

The Brazilian star was in the stands to watch his team-mates and later joined in to celebrate at the trophy presentation.

He took to social media to joke about his involvement in their success, comparing it to a school project.

Speaking to his Instagram followers, Neymar said: 'Just like in school, your group does the work & you collect the grade'.

Neymar suffered an ACL injury while on international duty with Brazil in October and will not return to action until next season.

He joined Al-Hilal from PSG for £78million last summer and signed a two-year deal in the Middle East.

With a year remaining on his contract, reports have suggested Neymar is eyeing a return to former club Santos.

Meanwhile, Al-Hilal are top of the Saudi Pro League, 12 points ahead of second-placed Al Nassr with seven games remaining.
